Dr. Silver’s priority is to build long-lasting relationships with his patients so he will be able to enjoy sharing in a lifetime of their good health. He strives to understand patients’ dental requirements concerning their circumstances, objectives, and preferences. He takes the necessary time to educate his patients about their options so they can actively participate in their dental treatment options.

Dr. Silver is committed to continuing education to ensure that his patients benefit from the latest in dental knowledge, procedures, technology, and materials. Dr. Silver graduated from the University of Toronto School of Dentistry in 1985, and later joined the Sheridan Dental Centre team.

Dr. Silver married Maureen in 1988. Their family includes three children: Alexandra, Daniel and Matthew. Outside the practice, Dr. Silver stays fit with squash, baseball, and biking.

He has been a part of the Ride to Conquer Cancer for 10 years, where he cycled over 200 km from Toronto to Niagara Falls to benefit the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. He is also very passionate about the Jays, Leafs, and Raptors.

Dr. Warshafsky strongly believes that continuing education is critical to providing his patients with the most up-to-date information and treatments available.

Informing and educating his patients is the central theme in Dr. Warshafsky’s approach to dentistry and is inspired by the teachings of the prestigious Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Key Biscayne, Florida. His patients become active participants in their treatment, understanding their choices and options.

Dr. Brian Warshafsky graduated in 1985 from the University of Toronto School of Dentistry. He gained extensive experience practicing at several clinics before joining the Sheridan Dental Centre team.

Dr. Warshafsky and his wife Erika have a busy household with their three children and their growing families: Daniel and his wife Michelle, Chelsie, and Jeremie. Recently, he has been enjoying special time with his grandson, Leo. He is actively involved in fundraising for breast cancer research and adds travelling, golf, tennis, jogging, baseball, and piano to his list of interests.

Dr. Rachel Kim graduated with her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from McGill University’s Faculty of Dentistry. Dr. Kim has a passion for dentistry and learning, and provides a wide array of treatments to her patients, including extractions, crowns, bridges, implant restorations, and root canals. Dr. Kim also provides sedation to patients who are nervous for their dental appointments.

Above all else, Dr. Kim is a huge proponent of communication and takes the time to make sure every patient can understand their oral health conditions and the treatment modalities that are available to them. Outside the office, Dr. Kim loves to spend time with her dog Walnut, do yoga, paint, and crochet.

Dr. Malek earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Florida, graduating top of her class. There, she received a scholarship for her outstanding clinical performance and was awarded for her high academic merit. In 2015, Dr. Malek participated in a volunteer trip to provide dental care to the underserved in Jamaica. Dr. Malek strongly believes in pursuing education to further her knowledge and skills in dentistry.

Dr. Malek provides therapeutic Botox for TMJ dysfunction and enhances lips with Juvéderm injections. To ease patients, she can provide conscious sedation and nitrous oxide. Dr. Malek combines a comprehensive and cosmetic approach for long-term quality dentistry. She has adopted the practice of improving esthetics and function for overall dental health.

Dr. Malek is passionate about dentistry and takes pride in providing quality care. She spends time educating her patients, as it is important for her patients to be knowledgeable and take an active role in their treatment. Dr. Malek enjoys getting to know each and every one of her patients and strives to make each person feel happy and comfortable in her chair.

In her spare time, Dr. Malek enjoys travelling, staying active, drawing, and painting. She likes to spend time with her family and friends, and loves rooting for her favourite team, the Toronto Raptors.

Originally from Nova Scotia, Dr. Chiasson began his dental education in 1983 at the University of Western Ontario. He practiced general dentistry in London, Ontario, for 6 years. After this, it was off to Chicago to continue his education in the orthodontic specialty department at the University of Illinois. He graduated in 1996 as a certified specialist in orthodontics.

For 20 years, Dr. Chiasson has practiced orthodontics in his private office in Burlington, Ontario, and within Sheridan Dental Centre. His attention to detail and ability to communicate have assisted him in creating smiles since 1996.

Dr. Chiasson works extensively with children as well as adult patients. He also works closely with the other members of the Sheridan team to successfully manage a wide range of specialized cases. As a Preferred Provider of Invisalign, he can combine both conventional orthodontic treatment and Invisalign to establish the right treatment options for his patients.

His greatest passion outside of the office lies with scuba diving. He has been diving for over 18 years, including extensive diving in the Caribbean, Central America, the Galapagos Islands, Indonesia, and the Maldives. His newfound enthusiasm for underwater photography has allowed him the opportunity to take many of his memories home. Most recently, he has taken this passion into the classroom and become a scuba diving instructor.

Dr. Eric Sade has joined Sheridan Dental to provide his expertise in the area of periodontics to patients who demonstrate the need for more advanced periodontal therapy.

Periodontics deals with gums and supporting tissues of the teeth. When problems arise within these tissues that are not easily managed by the more general techniques typically used in dentistry, special treatments and techniques are used by periodontists to bring about a healthier and more manageable gum and bone condition. These specialized techniques are used to prolong the life of teeth and minimize the need for dentures and bridgework.

Dr. Sade obtained his degree in dentistry from the University of Toronto and completed a 3-year full-time residency program in periodontics at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He currently maintains his private practice in Toronto.

Dr. Harpreet Gill is a strong proponent of always making his patient’s needs a priority. His skill and empathetic approach have allowed him to build a high level of trust with his patients, ensuring they always feel at ease with him and are comfortable asking any questions they feel necessary.

Dr. Gill graduated from the NYU College of Dentistry in 2012. During his time in New York City, he was part of a team designed to provide dental care for individuals seeking asylum in the US. This life-changing experience brought to light the empathy needed to succeed in any given profession, especially in dentistry when working with patients regularly.

Following graduation, Dr. Gill returned home to Toronto to begin his career in dentistry. Before joining the Sheridan Dental Centre family, he had experience working in many different practices and learning from some great dentists in the field.

When not in the office, Dr. Gill enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching his beloved Toronto Raptors—he has been an avid fan since their inaugural season in 1995. He also enjoys staying physically active by playing basketball, hockey, and kickboxing.
